Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes underwent a dual selection process: manual sorting followed by the use of an optical sorting machine, which selects individual berries based on size and shape.
After an initial cold maceration, fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Aged for 18 months in 500-liter French oak barrels (50% new, 50% used). The wine shows little color evolution, with intense aromas of ripe black fruit and spices—notably black pepper—predominating.
It is vibrant on the palate, featuring round, soft tannins, with the fruit and spicy notes re-emerging alongside a subtle toasted character.
A food-friendly wine; given its complexity, it pairs particularly well with meat, game, or richly spiced dishes. Serve between 16°C and 18°C.
