The grapes were received at the winery on a specialized line, undergoing total destemming and manual bunch selection, followed by optical sorting—berry by berry. Vinification took place in *lagares* (traditional open-top vats), involving pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control.
Aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels (300 and 500 liters).
Touriga Franca performs exceptionally well in this plot's terroir, expressing its characteristic rusticity and freshness. Deep garnet in color, the aroma highlights red fruit notes (pomegranate) with a vegetal touch. On the palate, it reveals impressive volume. The tannins are firm and slightly austere yet wrapped in freshness, leading to a persistent finish.
It pairs perfectly with strong cheeses, spicy dishes, and game. Serve at a temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC.
