The grapes were received at the winery on a dedicated processing line, undergoing total destemming and manual bunch selection, followed by individual berry sorting via an optical sorting machine. Fermentation took place in *lagares* (traditional open stone vats), involving pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control.
Deep ruby in color. It offers a rich aroma of blackberries and blueberries, revealing underlying nuances of mint and herbal notes in a distinctive balance. On the palate, it is full of character, very fresh, and well-structured.
The finish is persistent, with fresh fruit flavors predominating. A wine that pairs exceptionally well with food, largely due to its freshness.
It complements robust traditional Portuguese dishes such as lamprey, *cabidela* (chicken blood stew), *sarrabulho* (pork stew), and grilled sardines.
Serve at a temperature of 14°C to 16°C.
