Conventual 1998 - Red Wine
Portalegre has always been the land of Convents, owners of vineyards, located on gentle slopes, with granitic and quartzite soils benefited by a micro climate. The wine has a thick, rich color, has an aroma of aging wood that slightly overlaps the complex of ripe fruit with great depth. Based on the traditional grape varieties: Aragonês, Grand Noir, Periquita and Trincadeira and the care put into their manufacture, this wine pays tribute to the anonymous friars who cared for and produced convent wine here. With a large aging potential, it is a good company for red meats, game and sheep's cheeses, and should be served at a temperature of 18º - 20ºC.
