Maximo'S Tinto is a "terroir" wine. In a year, generally hot and dry, the grapes reached maturity with an irreproachable quality. The grape varieties that best adapted to the climatic year were Castelão, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional. Maximo's Tinto is concentrated, maintaining the original elegance of wines from the limestone soils of Alveirão.
Vinification: Manual harvest for 15 kg boxes, cooling 12 hours at 8oC, destemming, soft crushing, fermentation at controlled temperature. Aging in 12 months barrel.
Tasting: Opaque wine, concentrated in color, notes of ripe red fruit, cherry, ginga, hints of violet and cassis in good conjunction with the wood. Structured, with a long and elegant finish.
