Trincadeira is an ancient grape variety from the hot zones of Portugal. In Alveirão the variety is on a steep slope with southwest exposure. The grapes come from a 0.8 ha plot. 2,500 to 3,000 bottles are produced. Maximo'S Trincadeira is characterized by elegance, complexity and aromatic clarity.

Winemaking: Manual harvest for 15 kg boxes, cooling 12

hours at 8oC, destemming, soft crushing, temperature fermentation controlled. Barrel aging for 24 months.
