This wine is intended to prove that you can make a Baga wine that is aromatic and has smooth tannins. In it, the Baga grape represents 90% of the blend with Touriga Nacional (9%) and Bical (1%), but a shorter maceration and strict control of the fermentation temperature allow it to be consumed in the year immediately after the respective harvest. .
If Baga balances between the two international relatives, Nebbiolo from the Italian region of Barolo and Pinot Noir from the region of Burgundy, this profile is close to the delicacy and aromatic strength of the latter. It presents aromas of blackberry, raspberry, dark chocolate and maritime pine resin. The mouth is full, maintaining the elegance that only Baga can give, replicating the flavors presented in the aroma.
Its character allows it to be consumed with red meat dishes, or if served at 14º C, as an excellent accompaniment to fish in various forms of preparation, from the oven version to its passage through the grill.
