Ruby color and medium intensity. In a year like 2017, the wild fruit is generous and very expressive. Fresh and balsamic together with floral notes, very typical of the Douro castes.
In the mouth, it is elegant, light and discreet, with very light tannins, in a markedly mineral profile. The good acidity and the fresh fruit provide an easy and straightforward proof, without regret and always inviting for another glass.

The Producer

In the national wine panorama there is no producer more consensual than Niepoort. The long history of this house begins in 1842 and with the first Van Der Niepoort arriving in Portugal. He started out as a Port wine merchant and soon made his business into a thriving business that would greatly facilitate the work of future generations.
