Tasting Notes
Aroma of great complexity and elegance, resulting from its aging in solera, dominated by dried fruits, crystallized fruit notes and slight salinity. The palate is creamy and rich, with a balanced acidity and a lot of depth.
The Producer
VADIO is located in the village of Poutena in the BAIRRADA region. It is a small and familiar project founded in 2005 by the oenologist Luís Patrão whose essential element is the recovery of traditional grape varieties and the production of authentic DOC BAIRRADA wines. We have three completely different small vineyards and an old warehouse that we have adapted in a very simple way for the production of wine. Our wines have a classic style that aims to respect the authenticity of the region and the character of the grape varieties that give rise to it.
