Open ruby color. Intense aromas of ripe red fruits wrapped in fine aromas of smoke, toast and cedar. On the palate it is dry, with a well-marked acidity. High concentration of red fruits and well balanced jam with mineral flavors such as leather and earth. Ends long, silky and very mineral.

Anselmo Mendes' work is recognized in Portugal and abroad not only for the excellence of the wines he produces but for the surprising and consistent way he innovates. The fermentation of Alvarinho grapes in wooden barrels or the use of old winemaking techniques, such as tanning, are some of the methods that make these wines a unique case in the world of whites.
