Tasting Notes: A rare liqueur, unique aroma and flavor, produced for more than 30 years, from the Bastardo grape. Black topaz color with red and green specks, very intense aromas and complex, dense in the mouth and with a final test very long and balanced, given the acidity that still holds. It is an excellent example, in the Peninsula of Setúbal in Portugal of the result of producing a liqueur from the red wine grapes. Grape Bastardo came from vines planted south of the River Tagus in Portugal, and the last ones were torn out in 1983. José Maria da Fonseca still has a very limited quantity of this wine. Enjoy before it stock out!
