Tasting Notes
Straw yellow wine, very marked by its minerality, lemonade fruit and elegant presence of stage notes in new and used barrels. In the mouth it is vibrant and wide, with medium and very long final structure.
The Producer
At the height of 640 meters, in the heart of "Parque Internacional do Douro", the project COLINAS do DOURO was born. It is in the abrupt transition of granites from the beirão plateau and the first shale folds to the Douro River, which is, farm with 450ha of which 106ha of vineyard. With the vision of creating wines that convey "A SUPERIOR DOURO", we work in an intense and genuine way, sun by sun, vintage after vintage. Respecting and enhancing the rich local biodiversity, we want our wines to express in their elegance, freshness and minerality "A SUPERIOR DOURO", what we consider to be our terroir.
