Tasting Notes
Vinho do Atlântico (Wine from the Atlantic) White comes from a small vineyard where we can find different varieties such as Arinto and Antão Vaz. The vineyard is very close to the sea, on sandy soil, south of the Setúbal peninsula. This vineyard of special character that tends to offer delicate and mineral wines of great complexity.
Sea of Sines
Atlantic waters of N-S confluence reflecting in the exuberant biodiversity that populates the coastline from Troia to Odeceixe. A genesis of deep blue and crystalline waters, rewarding the beaches of the south with an extraordinary quality. Subject to the regime of prevailing winds of the NW quadrant that transports to the coast its medicinal qualities. With average temperatures between 17ºC on the surface and 12ºC below 20m.
The oceanic current travelling from the west, perpendicular to the coast, carries the specific minerals of the ocean and merges on the Sines coastline.
Dive
Stage at a depth of 10m, with an average temperature of 14ºC and a duration of 6 to 12 months.
The Producer
Produced by a family company, where the appeal to create wealth for the next generation is natural, Brejinho wines are the result of great care placed in an activity where every detail is important.
We view the activity in a comprehensive and sustained way: in addition to excellent wines, the protection of the landscape and respect for the environment, are the key to viticulture that is, increasingly, a factor of tourist attraction and a cultural practice.
