Very accomplished aroma, typical of the old world, with notes of sweet tobacco, some leather too, earthy and spicy. In the mouth it is full and tasty with rich tannins and fantastic acidity
The Producer
At the height of 640 meters, in the heart of "Parque Internacional do Douro", the project COLINAS do DOURO was born. It is in the abrupt transition of granites from the beirão plateau and the first shale folds to the Douro River, which is, farm with 450ha of which 106ha of vineyard. With the vision of creating wines that convey "A SUPERIOR DOURO", we work in an intense and genuine way, sun by sun, vintage after vintage. Respecting and enhancing the rich local biodiversity, we want our wines to express in their elegance, freshness and minerality "A SUPERIOR DOURO", what we consider to be our terroir.
