Blackberries and carob. In the mouth it shows the characteristic freshness of high-altitude wines. It is a mineral wine with velvety and enveloping tannins, and at the same time unctuous and deep. A truly balanced Superior Douro.
The Producer
At the height of 640 meters, in the heart of "Parque Internacional do Douro", the project COLINAS do DOURO was born. It is in the abrupt transition of granites from the beirão plateau and the first shale folds to the Douro River, which is, farm with 450ha of which 106ha of vineyard. With the vision of creating wines that convey "A SUPERIOR DOURO", we work in an intense and genuine way, sun by sun, vintage after vintage. Respecting and enhancing the rich local biodiversity, we want our wines to express in their elegance, freshness and minerality "A SUPERIOR DOURO", what we consider to be our terroir.
