Considered the most beautiful farm of the first half of the fifteenth century still existing in Portugal, Quinta da Bacalhôa is a former property of the Portuguese Royal House. Located in Azeitão, the Quinta and the famous Bacalhôa Palace constitute an artistic monument of major relevance to the country. Currently, Quinta da Bacalhôa belongs to the Berardo Foundation, belonging to the family of the same name and whose patriarch is Commander José Berardo. On June 23, 1910 it was classified as a National Monument. In the area around Quinta da Bacalhôa, visitors will find picturesque villages, wineries and one of Portugal's most beautiful and imposing landscapes - the Arrábida natural park.
