The history of Casal da Azenha dates back to the late 19th century, when António Bernardino da Silva Chitas established his family wine estate in Azenhas do Mar. Since then, the company has been guided by an unwavering passion for wine and a strong commitment to quality.

Over the generations, leadership passed to his son, António Bernardino da Silva Chitas Junior, and is now led by his grandson António Bernardino Paulo da Silva, keeping the family legacy alive. Under this direction, Casal da Azenha has expanded its presence in both domestic and international markets, with significant exports to several European countries and to the United States of America.
