The distinct microclimates and geographical conditions of the Douro Region (D.O.C.) contribute to the production of excellent quality wines, made from the recommended grape varieties - "Touriga Nacional", "Touriga Francesa", "Tinta Barroca" and "Tinta Pinheira" - cultivated in shale areas.

These wines are vinified according to traditional methods and, after aging in the bottle, they have a balanced flavor, good acidity and rich bouquet. They are an excellent complement to roasted or grilled meats and strong cheeses and should be served at a room temperature of 18ºC.
