Planted in schist clay soil, the strains of the Alicante Boushet, Periquita, Trincadeira and Aragonez grape varieties give rise to a full-bodied red wine characterized by subtle aromas. Winemaking combines tradition with techniques.

The wine, before being bottled at the Quinta, undergoes a two-year aging period in oak casks.
