Vinified at Quinta de Nápole it comes from vineyards with schist soils and around 55 years old, whose main grape varieties are Tinta Amarela, Touriga Francesa and Roriz. This wine was aged in half-barrels until bottling, without filtering, in July 1997.

This is a wine that can be consumed young but will benefit from a few years of aging in the bottle.
