It was in the 60s that the first Quinta wine in the Douro region was born, Quinta do Côtto, whose success led Montez Champalimaud to expand its portfolio, first with Quinta do Côtto Grande Escolha, and then creating a new brand , Paço de Teixeiró, in the Vinhos Verdes region.
