Tasting Notes
Fresh nose with great balance between fruit, vegetable and mineral notes: Grapefruit, herbs and chalk. Mouth with good volume and very fresh acidity, herbal and fruit notes more present along with some spices in a fresh and long finish.
The producer
The argilla wines are produced in Herdade da Anta de Cima, owned by the Tenreiro family, located in Serra de Montargil, Portalegre district.
The farm is based on the traditional agro-forestry production system of the region, where stands the cork oak meadows and the soft pine forests herded by herds of sheep and Alentejo pigs fattened by the lande.
The vineyards exploit the most fertile soils of the estate, clay and Mediterranean soils, acidic to slightly alkaline, well-drained, dominantly exposed to the south and with moderate slope.
