A red wine, created and marketed by JOSÉ MARIA DA FONSECA SUCCS, for over a century.

The precursor variety was Castelão Francês, which adapted well to his property "COVA DA PERIQUITA".

"PERIQUITA" is a wine produced from the grape varieties Castelão Francês, Espadeiro and Monvedro.

From this set comes a wine with a rich and fruity aroma, velvety taste and a final touch of wood, which is given to it during aging.

It should be served at 19º/20º C, accompanying roasts, game and intensely flavored cheeses.
