Produced from traditional varieties of the Region in plots of old vines located in regions with typical microclimates of the lands close to the tributaries of the Douro River, Porca de Murça Reserva fermented under strictly controlled conditions. Subsequently, it was aged in wooden barrels, 50% of which were new National Oak wood, resulting in a wine with a complex aroma, harmoniously integrating the vanilla from the wood and the aromas of red grapes.
Although with a full-bodied appearance and a very deep color, it leaves an impression of a round and very smooth wine in the tasting.
Served at room temperature, it preferably accompanies meat dishes and strong cheeses. Porca de Murça Reserva is a quality wine subject to deposit with ageing.
