José De Sousa is produced from the Trincadeira, Aragonez and Grand Noir varieties, planted at Herdade do Monte da Ribeira, in Reguengos de Monsaraz. After fermentation in clay amphorae and aged in wood, a deep red wine is produced, with a fruity aroma, balanced, complex palate, with a prolonged aftertaste. Serve it carefully at 18º-20ºC, accompanying spicy meats, game and cheeses. This wine can build up deposits with age.
