Tasting Notes
Intense red color and very balanced nose and well filled with notes of wild fruits and cherries, spices and a light floral touch, on a background where the elegance of vanilla and barrel notes is evident, in the mouth it reveals a voluminous and enveloping wine , where fruit and spices reveal a beautiful integration and canines demonstrate good firmness, showing signs of potential in the bottle, long and persistent finish.
The producer
The history of 100HECTARES wines begins in the early 1970s, when the Brás e Cigarro family - who have a huge passion for the Douro region - make major investments in the purchase and renovation of properties in the Douro sub-region - Baixo Corgo. The family farms are the origin of their wines, and the production is made exclusively from grapes from their properties, which is at the heart of the family's production philosophy.
