Tasting Notes
This wine is produced with a lot made with grapes from new and old vines. Stage in French oak barrels of different cooperages and with different types of roasts.Cor ruby deep red. With a complex, deep, intense and seductive aroma. Presents notes of red and black fruits, tobacco, spices, and dark chocolate. The tannins are polished and in, which confer longevity of taste, elegant, fresh, with preponderance of fruity side in mouth.
The Producer
Quinta da Boavista was part of the first delimitation of the Douro region carried out by the Marquis of Pombal in 1757. In his house he stayed and worked the Baron Forrester, one of the most celebrated personalities in the history of Douro do Porto. This property of 40 hectares of vineyard, with benefit of letter A (the best designation for the production of Port wines) is a treasure among the Douro wine universe.
