Produced at Herdade do Esporão, in a new wine cellar specially designed for small volumes. It was vinified with prolonged maceration, from noble Alentejo grape varieties, namely Alicante Bouschet and Aragonês. After aging for 18 months in new French oak barrels, the result was a wine with a complex aroma of ripe fruits, spices, toasted and smoked. The flavor is intense, very concentrated, with a good tannin structure and a long, persistent finish.
