Amber in color, this wine is endowed with complex and pleasant tertiary aromas, with notes of spices such as peppers, light cloves and a touch of vanilla, given by the good wood. In the mouth it confirms all its elegant aromatic evolution and a prolonged and sublime finish.

The Producer
The company was founded in 1926, by Messias Baptista, who maintained the management of the company until 1973. MESSIAS management is still, today, assured by the descendants of the Messias family. Since its foundation, MESSIAS has produced and marketed wines from the main demarcated regions: Bairrada, Douro, Dão, Vinho Verde and Port Wine. The company is also recognized for the high quality of its natural sparkling wines and spirits. The headquarters of MESSIAS is located in Mealhada, a small town in the Bairrada region, where the company has more than 6,000 square meters of facilities and approximately 160 hectares of vineyards, 70 hectares of which are used for the production of the prestigious Quinta do Valdoeiro wines.
