Founded in London in 1737 by William Offley, initially as a wine trading house, Offley quickly started exporting wines and later producing its own Port Wine, giving the brand worldwide recognition as a creator of high quality wines . A decisive moment for his projection was the entry to partner of Joseph James Forrester's company - later known as Baron of Forrester -, a charismatic man who had a fundamental role in the expansion of Offley and the Port Wine industry in the 19th Century.
