Tasting Notes: The Vesúvio 2004 has an opaque purple-black. The excellent ripening of the grapes and the relatively high Baumes allowed prolonged fermentations that produce wines with exceptional concentration, color intensity and strong tannin structure. Its fragrant nose of violets and rich flavors blackberries make it irresistible to open young, though the wine will age for decades.
