The Producer

Mouraz is the birthplace of António, a village where his family has cultivated vineyards in a holistic and ecological way for several generations.

The farm is spread over several vineyard plots with different soils, altitudes and surroundings, in a total of 25 hectares of land. Old vineyards about 50 years old and newly planted vineyards cohabit with the pine, oak, chestnut and cork forest, in a landscape marked by gentle hills cut by small streams. Granite predominates in soils and altitudes vary between 200 and 400 meters. The grape varieties are exclusively Portuguese, with predominance of typical Dão grape varieties such as Touriga-Nacional, Tinta-Roriz, Alfrocheiro, Jaen, Água-Santa or Baga (in reds), Encruzado, Malvasia-Fina , Bical and Cerceal (in whites).
