The Producer

Casa Agrícola Horácio Simões, founded by José Carvalho Simões in 1910. It is a secular house that is run by the 3rd generation of the family. The winery is located in Quinta do Anjo, in Palmela, a generous area of recognized quality wine. It is here that its vineyards are found, giving rise to two regional (red and white), and three DOC (Moscatel de Setúbal, Moscatel Roxo and Tinto Palmela). The vinification of its wines is carried out in mills by purely artisanal and traditional processes.
