The Producer

CARM is a strictly family business, with the family that gave rise to its documented activity since the middle of the century. XVII. Agricultural activity has always been centered in the region where the Douro River begins its journey exclusively in Portuguese territory, where the oldest demarcated region in the world also begins - the Douro and Port Wine Demarcated Region.

Our aim has always been to produce high quality olive oils and wines, exclusively from olives and grapes from our farms, about 60 hectares of almond, 220 hectares of olive groves and 200 hectares of vineyards located around the village of Almendra in the noblest area of the Douro Superior, included in the Archaeological Reserve of Vale do Côa.
