    Tasting Notes Very concentrated ruby

Tasting Notes Very concentrated ruby color, the 2010 Omlet shows a complex and very noble aroma. Wild fruit notes, some leather and spices are fully integrated with the mineral character. Of classic cut, with several layers, it shows in the mouth very concentrated, deep, with very silky and delicate tannins. Voluminous and structured, it is balanced by minerality, accentuated by the character of the old vines and by a good acidity. End of mouth complex, rich and very long. A wine of guard, that will benefit immensely with the stage in bottle.

Awards - Revista dos vinho 16/20 Tasting Notes Still very young, the wine already shows a good balance and harmony. With fresh, delicate and mineral aroma, notes of citrus fruits and fresh herbs stand out. In the mouth it is enveloping and with good acidity. It is a white with structure q.b. but without regret. The finish of the mouth is elegant with good notes of citrus and minerals. A white that presents youth and liveliness, very easy to drink. Perfect for the most diverse occasions.

Tasting Notes It shows a nice floral component, a fragrant tone, which join ripe mulberries, a touch of fresh herbs. Harmonious, with pure fruit always in the foreground, very clean and inviting. The Producer The Quinta Pedra da Cancela is the fruit of the passion for the wine of the Gouveia family. Winemaking is a family activity for several generations, in the beginning they delivered their grapes at the Adega Cooperativa. In 1999, with the end of the superior studies in Viticulture and Enology of João Paulo Gouveia, son of João Coelho Gouveia, they decide to create their own wine. The vineyards were restructured, others were acquired and a modern wine cellar was built and with a high technology, all respecting the culture of the demarcated region of Dão. In 2014 the company name became Pedra Cancela Vinhos do Dão Lda.
