Cartuxa Colheita 2012 - Red Wine
Cartuxa - Fundação Eugénio de AlmeidaTasting Notes: These flagship wines reflect the tradition and famed quality of the first people to make wine at Cartuxa; Carthusian monks who in 1598 established the Santa Maria Scala Coeli Monastery. The red wines are made from grape varieties that are most common in the Alentejeno region: Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet e Trincadeira, and are aged in oak barrels. They are full-bodied, combining the complex aromas of their grape varieties whit elegant structure and lingering complex flavours.
Serving at: 16/18ºC.
We recommend with: Hunting | Red Meat | Cheese.
