Tasting Notes: The white La Rosa has attractive floral notes with a palate full and complete showing a light touch of mint. Very soft and smooth, the wine as very mineral and citrus tones. Fresh and easy to drink.
The Producer
Quinta de la Rosa has belonged to the Bergqvist family since 1906 and currently has 55 hectares of vineyards. Located in the north of Portugal at 100kms from Porto. It is located in the heart of the Alto Dourona zone of 'A' quality grapes, on the banks of the Douroperto do Pinhão river. In all the ports of La Rosa traditional treading is done on foot and some of the Reserva table wines also undergo a cold maceration in mills.
