Colour straw yellow. Tropical fruits in the fragrance, subtle touch of wood. On the palate, juicy flavors of gooseberries and pears. Dense and sustainably with great potential.
The Producer
Founded in 1854 by the descendants of the Duke of Lencastre, surrounded by cork oaks and eucalyptus from Australia, Herdade da Calada is hidden among the gentle hills of the Alentejo. Over the years it has been the target of several interventions and improvements, but preserves the beauty and elegance of the original trait
the main building and today it is one of the most modern and innovative wine domains in Portugal, with a wine tourism unit, 35 hectares of vineyards, 110 hectares of olive groves, 60 hectares of cereals, 215 of cork oak forests and magnificent accommodation.
