Lua Cheia em Vinhas Velhas rosé- Rose Wine
Tasting Notes
Salmon colour. Excellent aromatic intensity, dominated by minerality. In the mouth it is young, fresh and very balanced. Persistent end of mouth.
The producer
The project Lua Cheia em Vinhas Velhas results from the passionate connection that its 3 founders - João Silva and Sousa, Francisco Baptista and Manuel Dias - have had with Douro for over two decades. After so many years of being overwhelmed by this unique wine region, in 2009 it was time to show how they saw the Douro wines. The company's history begins this year with white wines from Murça - an area forgotten by progress, but which produces unique and full of identity wines.
