Tasting Notes: Another magnificent wine from Herdade da Malhadinha Nova. Prepared by traditional methods, the grapes are harvested manually and transported in small boxes of 12 kg to the cellar, where they are trodden, occurring the fermentation in small vats under controlled temperature. The wine it’s aged in new barrels of French oak for 12 months. Pequeno João, presents a striking black and shiny colour. The aroma presents with red fruit notes and floral nuances. In the mouth it is round, full of fruit well married, with a good note of barrel. Proves to be an intense and elegant wine with a long and desirable finish.
