Considered the most beautiful farm from the first half of the 15th century that still exists in Portugal, Quinta da Bacalhôa is a former property of the Portuguese Royal House. Located in Azeitão, the Quinta and the famous Bacalhôa Palace are an artistic monument of the greatest importance for the country. Currently, Quinta da Bacalhôa belongs to the Berardo Foundation, belonging to the family of the same name and whose patriarch is Commander José Berardo. On June 23, 1910 it was classified as a National Monument. In the area around Quinta da Bacalhôa, visitors will find picturesque villages, wineries and one of the most beautiful and imposing landscapes in Portugal - the Arrábida natural park.
