Bottles in cardboard boxes must be stored unopened, in a clean and ventilated place, under normal conditions of temperature and humidity. For a short storage period, it is not necessary to place the boxes inverted. Serving Temperature - 16-18oC The farm where this wine was produced, called Quinta das Camélias, is located in Sabugosa, 15 km from the center of Viseu. It has a total area of 22ha, of which 15 are planted with vines, where the Touriga-Nacional variety occupies about 60% of the total, the rest being made up of Tinta-Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Jaen and a small portion of Syrah.
Garrafeira Quinta das Camélias represents the testimony of Terroir's expression and Dão's personality in a unique wine. Made from the harmony of the Touriga-Nacional, Alfrocheiro and Tinta-Roriz varieties produced and vinified in our Quinta, this wine represents a landmark of the enigmatic wines of Dão character. It has a deep garnet color, a very complex and enhanced aroma, revealing notes of plum and ripe blackberry with slight raisin, nuts and fine spices of cinnamon and cloves combined with soft balsamic notes. It shows itself with a well-designed volume, very balanced and harmonious, with silky and firm tannins. Reveals high fineness and exquisite bouquet with long persistence. It should be consumed at 16o-18o to accompany dishes of red meats and strong cheeses.
