Open in color, aroma with fine elegance and very good quality fruit. The mouth accentuates the elegant side, with suggestions of cherries and raspberries, polished tannins, an earthy character that gives it a lot of complexity. Long, super fresh and delicious.
Small family business with 15 ha of vineyards spread over several plots, including the Quinta Ruivo farm with 10 ha of vines over 100 years old. The lands of granite origin are sandy-loam, of low fertility, good drainage and enormous aptitude for the culture of the vine. The dominant grape varieties are Rufete, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Folha de Figueira, in paints, and Síria, Fonte Cal and Arinto, white.
Given the producer's passion for white Burgundy and German wines, there are also two small parcels with the Chardonnay and Riesling grape varieties. Viticulture is done in full respect for the environment, without chemical fertilizers, insecticides and herbicides. The winery is modern and the production of wine minimalist, in order to respect and give identity to the wines produced.
