Tasting Notes
Quinta do Monte Xisto 2016 has a very intense bright red color, following the tone of previous harvests. In smell, it reminds us of rock rose, cherry and various other red fruits. It gives us the feeling of seriousness and imposes itself reminding us of the great vintages. In taste, a velvety corpulence with a surprising freshness. Fills the mouth without being heavy showing a good balance. The acidity notes give it a sophisticated youthfulness. The tannins are thin allowing the fruits to be savored. It is an exquisite, cheerful and greedy wine. Throughout your test there is a harmonious sequence of pleasurable sensations that persist at the end of your mouth. When it's over it's a pity!… .. we feel more …… We can continue to drink it because it does not spoil the conversation, but rather illuminates the spirits.
