Tasting Notes
Aroma: Red fruits and forest fruits with fresh and elegant floral notes of violet and rock rose. Taste: Fruity, smooth and elegant, with excellent acidity and intense but silky tannins.
The producer
Nuno Aguiar (winemaker, former collaborator of Anselmo Mendes) and António Olazabal Ferreira (marine biologist in fast conversion to winemaker) launched a wine called Boina, the first is from 2015 and has a very appealing aesthetic. A series of wines that the duo began to produce in the Douro and Trás-os-Montes, as part of the Portugal Boutique Winery project. The Boina brand groups the Douro woodless wines.
