Medium in color, Merlot 2012 has a classic aroma of red berries, forest aromas and very delicate leather notes. The barrel is perfectly integrated, giving aromatic complexity in an elegant profile but with some rusticity. On the palate, it shows firmness and intensity, with a good balance between tannins and acidity. End of mouth long, very mineral, with freshness and persistence. The long bottle stage has allowed the wine to be now polished, very harmonious and perfect for traditional food dishes.
