Tasting Notes
Clear, ruby color. Exuberant aroma where red fruits are combined with floral notes. Excellent acidity combined with a velvety texture and a fresh finish. Forest aromas, an accurate and discreet barrel note, red, enveloping and complex fruit, is a radiant wine that blends well with the fruit with the acidity and leaves a delicious spicy trail like an aftertaste.
The producer
Baton, who also has Tom, reminds us of the French "bâtonnage", the agitation that takes place in wine when it gains body and greasiness.
And here from the top of the Douro, from where we can see Pinhão we see the winding of these two rivers, framed by the vine, constant of this landscape of sovalcos. This is what we see when we go up to the Casal de Loivos Viewpoint in Cima-Corgo, almost touching the sky.
