Tasting Notes
Dark red color. The nose shows the freshness of the high altitude vineyards. Balsamic and floral notes brought by Touriga Nacional and also red fruit flavors characteristic of Touriga Francesa. In the mouth the attack is strong and fresh, with a perfect balance between acidity and firm tannins, resulting in a long and smooth finish.

The Douro, the oldest demarcated region in the world, reflects the culture and generations of people who for more than 2000 years have shaped and cultivated the land to bring a unique landscape and wine to life. And it was this desire to explore, experiment and create that in 2002 led us to the virgin and inhospitable territory of the Upper Douro to bring the first Muxagat wine to life.
