Quinta de Valbom Reserva 2013 - Red Wine
Mixture of traditional Douro grape varieties from old vineyards. Wine with aroma of ripe berries, with hints of spice and toast. Taste of ripe fruit, firm tannins and natural acidity make this a deeply elegant wine with excellent longevity potential.
The preservation of Douro heritage, identity and traditions combined with the most up-to-date viticulture and oenology techniques and the know-how of Herdade dos Grous's technical team led by renowned winemaker Luís Duarte, allow the production of international quality wines and translate the mission. from the Quinta de Valbom.
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Miuda, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão
Deep dark ruby/purple colour. Nose of pure aromas of red and black fruits with notes of violets and smoke. It seems a bit closed though. Full bodied mouthfeel, dense and fresh, solid structure, red berries, cassis, fresh spice with balsamic hints. Persistent lingering finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Storage Lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
Pairs well with red meat dishes, baked salagne, tapas, as well as traditional mediterranean courses and cheeses.
