Ruby colored wine, concentrated. With aromas reminiscent of ripe red fruits, very well combined with the wood that gives it a touch of vanilla. Rich in good quality tannins, very complex.
The Producer
The house ermelinda freitas, is located in fernando dust, a privileged area of the palmela region. Started in 1920 by deonilde freitas and continued by germana freitas, this house received the name of ermelinda freitas who later, together with her husband, always dedicated special attention to wine, having, after his death, the work was continued with the help of his only daughter, leonor freitas. Although trained outside the wine area, Leonor took the leadership of the company, reinforcing and thus representing the 4th generation of female presence in the management of this house. Since the first generation, there has been a commitment to the quality of vineyards and wines, which were initially produced and sold in bulk without their own brand. It was with the current management that there was a great change in the creation of own brands, such as the renowned owner ermelinda.
